Congrats to Mihaila and Isabella for winning first place at our most recent competition! 

Mihaila participates in Learn to Skate twice a week at our rink and also plays ice hockey.  Isabella participates in the Learn to Skate program as well.

This competition was held in April of 2018 in Hagerstown, and featured athletes from around the region.  In all, there are 5 local rinks that participate in this series of competitions. 

The series allows skaters to develop their Learn to Skate USA skills in a competitive, but fun, environment.  Each season, skaters perform routines at each rink, and earn points that go towards a final standing.  This competition promotes a competitive environment, but most of the girls become friends with their competitors as they travel from rink to rink.  This healthy competition allows them to make new friends as they perfect their craft.
