The Hagerstown Hammerheads play on our in-house developmental teams, which are part of the Capital Corridor Hockey League (CCHL).  This is a great way for newer players to experience the team aspects of hockey at a great price.   We have several levels based on the players' ages.

We caught up with one team, the U-10 White team.  It's an understatement to say they've had a fun and entertaining season  so far!  Even off the ice, the kids have a great time together- and the parents have developed new friendships as well. The players all seem to get along like old friends (just stand outside the dressing room sometime). They love coming to each other's birthday skate parties at the ice rink, and 'parents vs kids' games at the Fairgrounds Park outdoor dry rink.

This camaraderie has helped to develop a culture of teamwork, entertainment and some really good hockey as their love of the game and skills develop.  They're currently on an 8 GAME WIN STREAK and they've spent most of the season on TOP of the CCHL U10 standings!  Keep it up Hammerheads, we are very proud of you!
