Hagerstown Ice offers leagues for skaters at all skill levels. Whether you have only skated public skate once before and want to jump in with both feet, or you have been playing hockey all your life, we have a league for you.
Please read the brief descriptions to the right to get an idea of what we have available. Then follow the links in the left navigation menu to learn more about each!
The Hagerstown Adult Hockey League is the more competitive league, which is balanced each year by team captains and league commissioners. Players enter on an individual basis. Players with an A / B / C skill set are welcome to join the league.
The HAHL runs 2 sessions each year. The Fall season runs from September through December, and the Winter season runs from January through May.
The Hagerstown Adult Recreational Hockey League is a more relaxed version of our league offerings. League play will run September thru December and January through May.
This league was created with fun and exercise in mind. This league best suits beginning players or older players looking for a slower pace, and is open to B / C players.
The Hagerstown Adult Instructional League (HAIL) is a non-competitive, instruction-based league that teachers new and novice players about team concepts.
Players in this league will learn about positioning, rules, offensive attack strategies, team defense and other basics. The goal is to have players learn more about the sport and practice skills through instruction and scrimmaging. Once players develop, they will be able to join our two competitive leagues.
