Previous Clinic - August 2016

On a hot Sunday morning in August, around 50 youth hockey players from the region gathered at the Hagerstown Ice & Sports Complex, eager to take the ice.  Their camp instructor was former NHL player Craig Laughlin, who currently serves as the Washington Capitals' TV analyst.

There were two different groups, with squirts and peewees skating together before the bantams took the ice.  Both sets of skaters received direct on-ice instruction and were put through a series of fast-paced drills.  After each session, Laughlin took the skaters off the ice and provided a presentation related to motivation, endurance and nutrition.

Below are some photos from the event.  We hope to offer a similar session again this winter.  If you are interested in participating, contact our Program Director Chad Ziegler for more details.
